The first is a simple exercise, known as 3-star arm conditioning. It is a simple way of developing increased bone strength and pain tolerance. It should be developed slowly and gradually.

The second and third are short 2-person fighting patterns that loop after 4-5 moves. These are used to continue developing bone strength and pain tolerance, but also incorporate the use of learning distance and timing.

Once learned, these simple patterns will also serve as excellent cardiovascular training.
